Rebranded and reopened in April 2019 to mark 30 years since founding.

Beds and Wi-Fi

Simmons beds are used in every room, and every room has Wi-Fi.

Private dry sauna

A private dry sauna for staying guests only can be used free for an hour, booked at the front desk during the stay, with a chargeable exclusive-use option.

Breakfast

A daily-changing breakfast mixing Japanese and western dishes, with freshly baked bread when western. It is for guests who book a breakfast-included stay.

Security

Security cameras are installed on every floor, and check-in and check-out use an automated payment machine.

Single room

Fifty-three rooms with 53 Simmons semi-double beds. They are 10.76 square metres, except rooms 302, 402, 502, 602, 702 and 802 at 9.39.

Double room

One room with a single Simmons double bed, 11.60 square metres.

Twin room

Five rooms, each with two Simmons semi-double beds, 17.26 square metres.

On-site facilities

Front desk, restaurant, computer space, entrance, vending machines, ice machine, toilets, coin laundry and non-smoking rooms.

Ice machine and shared toilets

The ice machine sits by the second-floor lift and is free. Beyond the rooms there are two women's and one men's toilet.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in from 15:00 with a final check-in at 24:00, and check-out by 10:00.

Late-night entry

Guests checking in after 24:00 must telephone the front desk in advance, and the main entrance is locked at 24:00 for security.

Restaurant and breakfast venue

There is a restaurant on the ground floor where breakfast is served.

In-house gallery

Many paintings are displayed, with an art corridor on each floor and a different painting in each room.

Main access

Five minutes on foot from the east exit of JR Utsunomiya Station, three from Light Cube Utsunomiya and 15 on foot or five by car from Brex Arena Utsunomiya.

Driving routes

About 121 minutes from Tokyo: 90 minutes on the Tohoku Expressway to the Tochigi-Tsuga junction, 16 on the Kita-Kanto Expressway to Kaminokawa IC, then 15 on National Route 4. About 205 minutes from Sendai and 70 from Mito.

Parking

A tower car park holding 16 vehicles, reserved in advance and limited to kei and standard cars. A ground-level space can be requested, and when full guests use nearby paid parking at their own cost.

Taking the car out mid-stay

The tower car park allows the car to be taken out during the stay, on request at the front desk.

Immediate surroundings

Next door to the east are a food alley and karaoke, and to the west a convenience store; the hotel sits in the city's bar district.
